After earning a degree in Industrial & Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he spent more than 20 years in management and quality-assurance roles, implementing systems that met the demanding standards of companies like Ford, Boeing, UL, and ISO 9000. Those years taught him that excellence isn’t an accident—it’s the result of clear processes, high standards, and people who care.When Don stepped into the home-services world, first through PNP Craftsmen and then Shine of Long Island, he brought that same mindset with him. He wanted to build something closer to home so he could spend more time with the people who matter most. Today Shine of Long Island is a true family operation. His daughter Kristen, who spent years working alongside him on Long Island, now owns and runs Shine of Charlotte with her husband Evan. His son Joe leads the field crews here on Long Island, training technicians and making sure every window, roof, gutter, and lighting display is done the Shine way.Don still loves watching the team grow and seeing a house transform after a job well done.
